There are two types of Miura M010 Card Readers that you can use:
You can recognize WiFi units by their WiFi icon (left to the blue LED).
Before you are able to perform the first transactions with the Miura M010 on Windows, you need to make sure that it already runs at least Miura OS V7-6 and Miura MPI V1-39.
This is only required for TEST Card Readers, since there are issues with Miura OS V7-5 that prevent us from updating to OS V7-6 automatically.
Once you order LIVE Card Readers for Windows, we will make sure they ship with Miura OS V7-6, Miura MPI V1-39 and - if required - USB Serial Mode enabled by default.
First download this ZIP containing the Miura OS/MPI.
Verify, that the Miura now shows MPI V1-39 when starting up.
Please make sure to do all updates one by one and in this order.
Please contact our support to enable USB mode for your application. Otherwise, the update will be removed from the reader.
In order to connect to the Miura via USB, you need to put it into USB Serial Mode. Take a look at this page for detailed instructions.
Make sure your Miura M010 is WiFi capable (WiFi icon left to the blue LED). In order to connect to the Miura via WiFi, take a look at this page for detailed instructions.
To disable USB Serial Mode again, just do a Factory Reset.
